About

Embedded Software Engineer with 20 years of experience taking embedded and system-level software from requirements through production across storage, consumer electronics, and automotive systems.

Broad, hands-on experience across embedded Linux, QNX, Automotive Android, and multiple RTOSes (FreeRTOS, µC/OS-II) — from board bring-up to production, in both consumer electronics and automotive programs. Practiced in Automotive SPICE (ASPICE, v3.1/v4.0) process work, with exposure to safety-related programs — including a vehicle gateway SEooC system specified to ISO 26262 (Parts 3, 4, 6) at exida.

Experienced in low-level development, root-cause debugging (GDB, Lauterbach Trace32, JTAG/trace tools), performance optimization, and production tooling — manufacturing flash tools, firmware update and signing infrastructure.

Led development teams and coached embedded platform teams. Currently deepening program and stakeholder leadership through a postgraduate degree in Project Management.

How I think

I use Theory of Constraints and Systems Thinking to cut through complexity and design systemic, not symptomatic, solutions — finding the actual bottleneck rather than treating its symptoms.
